Mr. Gunderson concentrates his practice representing businesses, health care facilities, and other small and large employers in matters involving employment litigation.  He also provides counsel and advice to businesses, in-house counsel, HR professionals, and executive employees in all areas of employment law, employee relations, and human resource matters. 

Mr. Gunderson represents employers in a wide range of general business litigation and employment litigation matters in state and federal court, including defense of suits filed under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal and local civil rights and employment rights statutes. 

He also advises employers on compliance with the myriad of employment laws and regulations applicable in today's workplace.  He works closely with companies advising them on reductions in force, developing and revising company policies and employee handbooks, investigating misconduct and corporate non-compliance, and limiting liability in all aspects of employment decisions, from hiring to discharge. 

Mr. Gunderson also advises and represents executive and upper-management employees in matters of hiring, discharge, negotiation of terms of separation and severance, non-compete and confidentiality matters, and executive compensation agreements.
